….., the answer nowadays is right in front. Its the so called Masters in Business Administration.Who doesn’t want to be an MBA? A schoolboy, a service staff, a clerk, a freshly passed out engineer; everybody! More than a professional acumen, being an MBA has drawn itself much towards the culture front. I have no idea when the people’s paradigm about MBA has shifted. It has become a meaning of prestige and everybody is plume of being one. Every boy in a family is not a man until he does an MBA, every mother feels the one marrying her daughter to be an MBA, every politician/businessman feels that his son is ready to inherit the elite property after he does his MBA, prestige of a family depends on MBA, damn..whole life is a MBA. I sometimes feel, with such thinking the whole essence of what an MBA is perishing. More than a passion to learn management and administration, it has become a degree to attain status, pride and money. A tool that diminishes the existence of learning. Indian culture believes in this, and so do everybody in it. Ladies and gentleman! we are just watching the IAS of 21st century.
IAS of 21st century! :) true!
In college we used to call outselves “Much Below Average”
