Art is Hot!
The otherday I was at Barista, sitting smoking and sippin some good beans in warm water. The lady sitting next to me asked me for the
lighter. Old-still-youngish: 30 plus something, Gucci stuff!
Since I’m interested in Coffee only, I ignored her mini skirt and age Vs skirt ratio! Guess she waiting for someone - First date? Nahhh!
There’s one typical figure at Barista, Saket ( I mean there are many, like me) I’m talking about the “seen-it-all uncle”! Desparately looking
for chair to sit and smoke, obviously came to the lady bird and asked if he could.
Smoke, Lighter, Whether, Delhi’s Humid and all thise intro stuff, the guy asked “What you do”!
“Am an Art lover” !
Fuck that made me turn my head and look at her face, What the fuck? Is there anything called ‘art-lover’?
Generally people say - I’m a Software architect, Investment banker, Sweeper, Consultant, Call Center, Painter, Driver, Pilot and all. Shocked
hear a tag called “Art Lover”!!!
Hmmm … Art is hawt thesedays, Financial Times to Wallstreet Journal has got “Art Economics” Column - Billions //sorry millions// been
made till date for crap shit paint spitted on white paper. One of my friends has left a consulting job to start an art gallary Wow!
Since this is the company of folks we keep, I’ve asked her to tell me how to appreciating art!
She’s got really interested, she made one quick drawing on the napkin and showed me [ something like this]
